Taking a walking tour to recover our freedom?
May 8th, 2009 by Christine Aberger

Is it due to our sometimes all-too-busy everyday life and the wish to recover some of our freedom that we like to engage in a sporting activity which was considered to be stuffy and old-fashioned some time ago?
The large number of books and blogs which revolve around hiking seems to confirm my impression that hiking has definitely become a trend sport. Now I wonder what it is that makes hiking so attractive. Being out in the nature, enjoying the peace and quiet, getting some exercise and a change from everyday life….?
Why do you enjoy going on a walking tour? Write a blog entry and share your motivation with us until 10th June 2009! Among all participants we will raffle a Hiking Season Opening package deal for two.
Everyone is welcome to participate! Just write a contribution on your blog which treats hiking and add a trackback to this entry. All articles which will have been published until 10th June 2009 will participate in the raffle.
The prize:
A package deal arrangement for two for the Hiking Season Opening from 25th to 28th June 2009:
* 3 overnight stays including half-board
* Free entrance to all events on the programme
* Free transport aboard the operating cable railways in Zell am See-Kaprun (Friday until Sunday)
* Daily guided walks
* Free entrance to the lidos, indoor and outdoor swimming pools of Zell am See-Kaprun (Friday until Sunday)
* Free transport in the post busses within the region (Friday until Sunday)
