Mother Hulda granted us plenty of fresh snow and I set out for Kitzsteinhorn with the Freeride Experience. Under a radiant blue sky we were so happy as to be the first ones to swish down the slopes of Schmiedinger and Maurer ridge. What a feeling to dash across powdery new snow!

On Sunday, 15th March 2009, Schmidolin’s annual Winter Olympic Games took place on Schmittenhöhe. Despite rainy weather there were as many as 72 children who dashed through the gates like true pros.
